 San Juan, Dominican Republic (May 25 – Jun 1) Students participate in a week-long construction project. Through the organization, Cambiando Vidas, participants engage in a cultural and communal experience of building a house with a family. Volunteers see the project through to completion – from the foundation to welcoming the family into their new home.Quito, Ecuador (May 29 – Jun 6) The Working Boys' Center serves over 400 families of working children. Volunteers engage in school and community projects focused on the program's commitment to formation and social assistance. Groups also participate in a "minga" - a community work gang construction project.
Nogales, Arizona and Mexico (May 18 - May 25) Students take part in the Kino Border Initiative. This immersion trip not only embraces direct service but also focuses on educating participants on social justice through significant dialogue with people impacted by migration.  San Lucas, Guatemala (May 29 – Jun 5) Students work with the San Lucas Mission and Parish. Projects include participation in construction, coffee picking and processing, reforestation, and various community tasks. Groups will receive a cross-cultural experience combining hands-on service with opportunities for learning and community building.
San Salvador, El Salvador (May 31 - Jun 7) Students take part in the Christians for Peace in El Salvador (CRISPAZ) immersion experience. This trip focuses on educating participants on the lives, histories and hopes for the future of the Salvadoran people.Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic (Jun 1 – Jun 8) The Caribbean Social Immersion Program, an initiative of the Social Ministries Office of the Jesuits, focuses on the life of the migrant workers in the sugar mill communities. Presence based service, educational lectures, and social agency site visits give students the opportunity to learn about the culture and the most vulnerable communities of the country.
Mandeville, Jamaica (May 29 – Jun 5, Jun 5 - 12) Through this experience hosted by Our Lady of Hope parish, participants visit children at St. John Bosco’s home for street boys and a local parish, spend time with the elderly in nursing homes sponsored by the Missionaries of Charity and the Missionaries of the Poor, and work on building and agricultural projects. San Bernardino, Guatemala (May 29 - Jun 5) Hosted by Partners in Development (PID), students are engaged in various forms of service. Group projects include building homes, making village improvements, running children’s programs, and assisting in the PID Clinic.
Belize City, Belize (May 26 – Jun 1) Hand in Hand Ministries is dedicated to providing food, water, clothing, shelter, education and medical care to the most vulnerable populations. Participants work with families to repair or build homes, visit community members, play with the local children, and attend cultural presentations. |
