Through a combination of skill development, field work, design projects, internships, and practice in engineering, our program prepares graduates for work in a variety of settings. As a student in the program, you'll have the chance to design a program unique to your individual career goals through the various elective courses we offer and the minors and concentrations available across campus. A few of fields of study our previous graduates chose are an operations management minor, a leadership minor, and a mathematics minor.

Upon completing the degree, you will have options for career growth in technical specialization, management, and entrepreneurship. You can also join an aerospace, medical devices, electrical power, manufacturing, transportation, HVAC, or robotics company as an entry-level engineer or consultant. Alternatively, you can continue your graduation studies in mechanical engineering or related engineering degrees. you will also be eligible for a bachelor's-level national credential - the Fundamentals of Engineering certificate.
