Hope Gallery Workshops

In order to integrate gallery and studio experiences of art, the Hope Horn Gallery offers gallery tours and hands-on workshops as part of its programming for most exhibitions. Interested school and community groups are invited to schedule workshop sessions that meet their unique needs in terms of date, time, group size, and activity.

Popular formats range from short guided tours lasting one hour, to day-long visits combining morning tours at the Hope Horn Gallery with afternoon workshop sessions at the nearby Smurfit Arts Studio, located at the corner of Vine Street and Madison Avenue. Materials used in hands-on workshops regularly include pencils, Conté crayons, watercolors, acrylic paints, collage materials, and found objects. Participants range from kindergarten students to senior citizens, and groups of all ages and interests are welcome.

While on campus, groups may also visit Trevor Southey's Heritage Room Mural, located on the fifth floor of the Weinberg Memorial Library, as well as large-scale public sculptures located on The University of 51视频 Commons.

Please call the Hope Horn Gallery for further information.
