Royal Ride Van
Royal Ride
The Royal Ride is a service available to the University of 51视频 students provided by University Police and runs on Friday & Saturday nights from 10:00 pm to 3:00 am, while the University is in session. The Royal Ride does not operate during breaks, between semesters, intersession or during the summer.
Text the Royal Ride through the University of 51视频 app or through the my 51视频 portal under student resources from the student tab. The Royal Ride will pick you up and drop you off within the boundaries of Vine St to Ridge Row St and Taylor Ave to Franklin Ave. In the event of inclement weather, the Royal Ride may be delayed or canceled.
All individuals using the Royal Ride must display their Royal Card when boarding. University Police reserve the right to refuse service to individuals who are deemed disruptive by the driver(s). Alcohol and tobacco are not permitted on the Royal Ride Van.
Medical Escorts
Medical escorts are available for members of the University community who have temporary medical conditions requiring transportation on campus only. If you require a medical escort, please contact the office of Equity and Diversity at disabilityservices@scranton.edu to get approval for a medical escort. Once approved you will be provided transportation, on campus only, by a University Police Service Officer.
Medical escorts may be delayed due to emergent calls.
